New uNmINeD development snapshot is available for download!

Changes:

  • (GUI) Added a main menu bar
  • Added biome rendering mode (see config/custom.biomecolors.txt for customization)
  • Added heightmap rendering mode (customization coming soon)
  • Fixed rgb(r,g,b) color parsing
  • Added hsl(h,s,l) color format, similar to HTML/CSS (hue=0..360, saturation=0..100, lightness=0..100)
  • Minor fixes

Biome rendering mode uses well known colors from the Amidst and cubiomes seed mapping projects:

Looks very good, one note, the heightmap rendering option has sea level 1 block too high, post1.18 and pre1.17. Land areas are shown as underwater at sea level when they are above water.

    2 suggestions regarding default settings:

    1. It probably might be better to have the default Nether load in an X-ray mode at y-126; instead of slice mode of y-61. This way, the Nether dimension is visible without chopping half the world by default.

    2. Is it possible to have the the color tab’s “vanilla biome tints”, “underground different style”, and “cartographic elevation gradient”, have an option to change default loading preset in the config? This way, one does not have to tick these every single time, opening a new/different world.

    Awesome tool as allways.
Wondering if sometime in the future, can we get an inhabitance-heatmap coloring?

I have issues with usercache.json loading (probably it did not load as only the id and dimension is present in the users section). I did not see any mentions about it in the logs.
(the file is exists one folder up relative to the world folder.)

Keep up the awesome work megasys 🙂
