    Nice Work!
    A couple of suggestions:
    1) It would be so nice if we could highlight the players location (and facing direction) somehow.

    2) Rendering is slow and sometimes stop, even though the chunks are already generated. I don’t know if its feasible, but if we could just render the layer that is currently displayed, that would be awesome!

    3) When zooming, it would be nice if the whole map didn’t refresh. Instead, add a manual refresh button to the GUI.

    4) Being able to add named markers (POI) would be a good addition.

    Keep up the GREAT work!

Is it possible to export the world one massive image? if not, is this a feature that can be added?

    Thanks! this tool is fantastic!

Thank you very much for updating.

    Thanks for the great tool!

Question: when rendering a world there are red circles in a couple regions that have been generated and no graphics display beneath but text description of biome does. Is that some sort of corrupt world data in those regions or?

thank you man!!! great program, it helps a lot

  6. Buck Backup

The tool isn’t working on my 1.15.2 world anymore. I get this error: Exception System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name: length. I’m outputting the world to a folder (c:\Minecraft\unmined\maps) and it get’s part way through the process but errors out with this.

I’ve removed all files from the program, set a new, empty target folder and closed the MC server. Redownloaded and ran a fresh install of unmined and it’s working again.

Thanks again for a simple map tool.

    2. SpeedMake

I’m also having the same problem

  7. GoBlue

Was just wondering if blocks below the surface are supposed to be different color based on type or are they supposed to be all one color?

I started playing the newest 1.16.3 and I am getting a lot of areas that fail to render showing only the red dot in the overworld and my map currently is only about 1500 blocks in either direction more or less from zero. Something has broken since I last used this. My old save seems works fine from the 1.15.2 works fine when I open my backup from that world, but when I updated it to the 1.16.3 it broke. its like it starts to load part of it then suddenly fails on some sections. I will send you all the 3 worlds I have to megasys at unmined.net so you can take a look for yourself.

interesting….seems that it was just unmined not liking MultiMC open in the background. I had forgot it was open after I closed the game. It seems to be working fine now. I guess the launcher was locking part of the file from being read. Leaving this comment in case someone runs across this issue too.

    Thank you!
Could you please change the rendering of barrier blocks (https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Barrier) to transparent instead of black? Those blocks can be used so that snow won’t land on certain buildings while also not beeing visible in the sky. However, on the map you then see only black.

    1. megasys

Latest version (0.12.17) renders barrier blocks as air.
